Francis Ford Coppola's Restaurant Opens Today

Rustic, the new restaurant from winemaker and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola opens today in Geyserville in Napa Sonoma Valley. It will feature "Italian country cooking," an Argentinean parrilla grill, and Martin Scorsese's mom's lemon chicken.

Dude, That Hummus Will Blow Your Mind

In Denver, the AP reports a new medical-marijuana shop called Ganja Gourmet (site) has opened serving cannabis-infused specialties such as pizza, hummus, and lasagna.

Batali, Bastianich Launching Market in Port Chester

Chef Mario Batali and restaurant partner Joe Bastianich are planning to open a new market in Port Chester as an offshoot of their their Tarry Lodge restaurant. It will feature a selection of pastas, cheeses, meats, and breads baked on-site.
