Observer: Frequency Reductions, Budget Cuts Likely at Gourmet
Sources tell the New York Observer that Gourmet and several other Conde Nast magazine titles may need to slash their budgets by as much as "25-ish percent." Gourmet is also considered to be a candidate for reducing frequency. The Observer article does not report on the potential fate of Bon Appetit.
Observer: McKinsey Targeting Gourmet, Bon Appetit
The New York Observer is reporting that Conde Nast's food titles are being targeted by McKinsey in its ultimate budget-cutting recommendations to the publisher: "Gourmet and Bon Appetit, are most commonly mentioned as candidates for reduced publishing schedules.
