Chefs on Film

Why do films about chefs tend to be so disappointing?

I beg to differ. The films listed are not great but there are fantastic food films out there, most of them are foreign films though. I have been compiling a list to do some research for a webseries we are writing.
-Eat, Drink, Man, Woman
-Babette's Feast
-Mostly Martha (the original No Reservations)
-Like Water for Chocolate
-Ratatouille (doesn't matter that it's animated)
-What's Cooking?
-Tampopo (haven't seen it but hear it's great)

Because you can't duplicate the absolute pressure and controlled chaos of a kitchen on film. Just can't do it. And to 5ive, the movies you listed above suck... with the exception of Ratatouille. Nice try.

Great Site, your plugins are very useful and save me a tonne of time.rytuyiu

I know somebody within your entire world is waiting for me, although I’ve no believed of who he is. But I really feel pleased just about every sole morning for this. zhongchengmaoyi110post
