Joe D'Amico, the so-called "McRunner" who prepped for the Los Angeles Marathon by eating only food from McDonald's for breakfast, scored his "personal best" in the race.



That's great. I'll love to see how his overall health does in the coming weeks, months and years.


I am very surprised that this man scored his personal best considering the diet he was on. It was pretty impressive to read, I would have never guessed that he would do better. I always feel gross and sick after eating fast food, so it is hard for me to imagine running a race after eating fast food every day. It will be interesting to see the long term effects on his health though, it may not seem like it now, but all that fast food may catch up to him later.
