Zinfandel Guy Parodies Old Spice Guy

A new video to promote the 2011 Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival in Paso Robles, California, parodies the Old Spice ads with a swaggering connoisseur of zinfandel (as opposed to a bare-chested promoter of deodorant).

I just think this is so funny because I love the old spice commercials. It is a definite way to grab people's attention to the product you are selling. A lot of other people are using this comical way of advertisement to sell anything. I once saw a commercial for a college to make people want to come to the library more to study. It was an awesome project and a great way to get people to notice all the advantages of a school library.

I thought this video was an excellent way to grab the attention of their audience, because everyone knows of the old spice commercials. I personally love watching the old spice commercials so this commercial really was able to grab my attention. This festival is way to far away for me to travel but i am sure they will get a lot of people anyway with this commercial

Absolutely agree with you)

Life is an enrollemnt game. It's the fun interesting unusual ads that turn heads, not the rote data.

I really liked this parody of the old spice commercial. I especially like that it is promoting a wine festival, because I think that's a much better product than deodorant. A lot of people are attempting to re-create this commercial. Someone mentioned in an earlier comment that they saw a school re-create this commercial to encourage people to go to the library, and they actually did that at my school! It's a good commercial because it is well known and is funny, so it grabs people's attention.

Cool! Author the best! Thank you!

This is an affecting point of view on this topic. I am happy you shared your ideas and I find myself agreeing.
