Good to know that the spill off the Gulf hasn't made people question the sea food product of late too much. Fish is a healthy source of nourishment and its nice to see people taking an interest in it. I am sure fisherman appreciate the growth of consumption as well.

I'm sure this is good for the fishing industries but it makes me wonder how the fish populations are being affected. Given the increase in consumption, I can only imagine these populations are suffering. This makes me wonder how much longer we can continue consuming fish at such a high rate before we permanently endanger some of these species.

I agree with Jeff, it is good to see that people are still willing to eat fish despite the spill in the gulf. The fisherman took a hard hit from the oil spill, and its good to see that business is starting to pick back up for them. Its good to hear that peoples fear of eating fish seems to be going down. Fish has numerous health benefits and can especially help people who are trying to diet, so I'm happy to hear that people have not cut it out of their diet. The depletion of global stocks, however, is still an issue that needs to be taken into acount, especially since it theatens food security.
