Is Chicken Pumped Up With Salt and Water Still "Natural"?

Should chicken that has been injected with salt, water, and other ingredients be promoted as "natural"? A debate between poultry producers and health advocates has prompted federal officials to consider changing labeling guidelines.

While this is practised for frozen foods, fresh food is not supposed to be pumped up at all.
"Pumped up with water" is also a misnomer because the water would simply leak out of the meat it has been pumped into.
Therefore "Water, protein, emulsifiers and other chemicals are injected into food to produce bulking" would be a more correct term.
