Hooters Waitresses Take On Oil Spill With Hosiery

Hooters waitresses are donating their "used but laundered" (phew!) pantyhose to official efforts to create containment booms for the Gulf oil spill.

While deep down I think it was a marketing campaign to promote Hooters, I have to admit that if it is helpful to the diaster in the Gulf then I am only encouraging them. Of course there are many of us that have pantyhose we'd like to donate but I certainly am not going to go to a Hooters to do so....
