Edible Crayons

Crayons2

These crayon doppelgangers were made with edible ingredients -- from nuts and seeds to bee pollen, marshmallow, and dried fruits and vegetables -- crushed into powders, pressed into molds, and air-dried.

This is so awesome! So i can write and eat at the same time! It's art in itself, you can make art with it and you can eat it! what more do you want! Absolutely beautiful. Keep up the cool and creative work!

I just came across this recipe for edible crayons.

Haha, brilliant. "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Let them eat the crayons!" nice idea.

Perhaps there's an all-seafood version out there.

What a novel idea for a party! Thanks for the info!

I wish I had some of these while my kids were in "painting mood" :-)

This was a brilliant idea only a food genius could have created these. I wish I had these while I was a kid. I think they would have been perfect in Restaurants especially for toddlers. Teach them how to color n then let them actually eat their crayons. In fact add them to the list of activities for Kiddie-menus at Olive Garden, Denny's, or IHOP. I wonder if this sweet crayon is healthy or just meant to have the calories of a typical sugar confection. Sometimes I wonder how has food evolved over the years.
