Last Days for Wendy's in Japan

Amid too much competition from McDonald's, fast food chain Wendy’s will be closing all 71 of its Japanese outlets on Jan. 1, 2010. Zensho, the Japanese company that runs Wendy’s Japan, decided not to renew its contract with Wendy’s, which runs out at the end of 2009.
