I cannot understand why The Boat Restaurant at Central Park wasn`t mentioned here. The location is beautiful. It has aview to the lake and the food is exquisite.

I am thrilled that Marc Forgione in Tribeca got recognized. The food has consistently been memorable and never disappoints! MF has been and remains one of my favorites since it opened a little over a year ago! Thanks Michelin for giving my palette credibility!

i am very desapointed, The Boat Restaurent in C/P was not nominated. Every time i am in NewYork i make myself available
to go to the Boat and enjoy View and Foods.I am from Vancouver BC Canada and i travel a lots specialy visiting NY.

I am not convinced about the ratings mentioned in the ‘Michelin 2010 New York City Restaurant Ratings’. The list does not match the 2010 food trends predicted by most food connoisseurs that the hot-spots in 2010 will be restaurants that offer a mix of healthy and ethnic menu. Going by the normal trend I would say small, local places like the one in our neighborhood in East Village, called Graffiti will be the hot spots. Though I am not an expert on all these things but such restaurants are becoming more and more enticing than the bigger ones for two main reasons. One, they offer a good mix of healthy and tasty dishes. Two, they have amazing décors that are complemented by global cuisines. I would have really appreciated if the criteria for the selection of the restaurants for the ratings are mentioned in the report.
