Irish Cheese Tasting
To honor St. Patrick's Day, the Artisanal Premium Cheese Center will present a tasting of Irish cheeses, including Durrus, Cooleeney, and Cashel Blue, on Friday, March 16, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Artisanal Premium Cheese Center, 500 West 37th Street, 2nd Floor. $75/person (877.797.1200).

Wines of the Veneto
Italian Wine Merchants will launch its "Studio Regionale"  Saturday wine tasting series with a seminar exploring the wines of Italy's Veneto region, paired with food, on Saturday, March 17, at Italian Wine Merchants, 108 East 16th Street. $50/person (for reservations, contact Michann Thompson at  212.473.2323 x106).

Lazio on the Hudson
Salvatore Tassa, chef and owner of Italy's Colline Ciociare, will create a special menu as guest chef at San Domenico restaurant, 240 Central Park South, from Monday, March 19, to Sunday, March 25 (212.265.5959).
