Cheese and Joe
CheeseandcoffeeMurray's Cheese and Joe the Art of Coffee will team up to present a tasting of fresh, aged, rustic, and sweet cheeses paired with single origin coffees and espressos. The event will take place on Monday, December 4, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Murray's Cheese, 254 Bleecker Street. $50/person (212.243.3289, ext. 12).

Raw Milk vs Pasteurized Cheese: Separating Fact from Fiction, Maitre Fromager Max McCalman will discuss the debate over raw milk versus pasteurized cheeses -- including safety issues, laws, and nutritive values -- along with a comparative tasting paired with wine, Wednesday, November 29, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Artisanal Premium Cheese Center, 500 West 37th Street, 2nd Floor, entrance on 10th Avenue. $75/person (877.797.1200).

Wine & Chocolate Pairing, Chocolate Zoom will present a tasting of chocolates paired with wine on Wednesday, November 29, 7:00 p.m., at Marie Belle, 484 Broome Street. $90/person, advance ticket purchase required (tours@sweetwalks.com or call 917.292.0680).

Regional Wine & Cheese Tasting, the NYU Department of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health will present a cheese and wine tasting to benefit the NYC Nutrition Education Network. The event, led by Ann Saxelby, Saxelby Cheese Mongers, will feature local cheeses paired with New York wines: Thursday, November 30, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at 35 W. 4th Street, 10th Floor. $30/person (cash only), space is limited (RSVP to fundraiserrsvp@gmail.com).
