Swanky Scales
There's a fine line between kitsch and class when it comes to "retro" kitchen supplies. Thankfully, Typhoon's vintage scales, which have the smooth, curved lines reminiscent of an old-fashioned radio, fall into the latter category. Made of powder-coated steel, the scales feature a precision weighing mechanism and a pear-shaped stainless steel bowl for ease of pouring. $40 in blue, pink, cream, and green at Typhoon.
