Starbucks to Transform Stores Into Coffee Shops
Shockingly, this is not a headline from The Onion. After recent rumblings about taking steps to "reignite the emotional attachment with our customers," followed by the retraining of its baristas, Starbucks has announced a plan to get serious about coffee. The chain will acquire the vaunted Clover coffee machine, develop and produce new espresso machines, and create a social networking site, My Starbucks Idea (already denounced as "simply a corporate propaganda site").
