The Restaurant Slump and Working Women

The Wall Street Journal reports that the a leveling off in the percentage of women in the workforce has contributed to a long-term slump in restaurant visits. Other contributing factors: an increase in the percentage of dudes cooking at home, and the "foodie phenomenon," whereby TV chefs have made it seem "cool" for families to stay home and make dinner.
