Eating Architecture
Art and Design: Artist Emily Katrencik, who has been eating her way through the wall of her Brooklyn gallery since Jan. 1, is just days away from completing her art project/meal. How does the wall taste? "The dry wall has a very mild flavour," she told The Guardian. "The texture is more prominent than the taste - it's a chalky flavour with tiny little sharp pieces in it." Mmmm. Visitors can join in the fun by eating bread made with minerals extracted from the wall. The exhibition closes on Feb. 27.
